DPS- Doll Safety Laws

Dolls and their clothes should not be exposed to unnecessary dirt, unless protective measures are to be taken (yes, this happened to Kit-Kat on their hike... the poor shoes).

Dolls should be kept away from unknowing and uncaring fathers, brothers, etc.

Dolls should not be thrown down steps.

Dolls should be carried properly, not by just a leg or an arm.

All dolls should get an equal amount of time with their owner. Favorites are not fair!

Dolls should not knowingly be left alone with other dolls who will be mean to them.

JUST ADDED:

not being left around animals or very young children who may unknowing damage, pull-apart or chew on a doll.

The styling and decorating of a doll's hair is descetionary to the owner as long as it doesn't permanently damage the doll or their hair. If the doll's hair is worn down or taken down, it should be carefully brushed with a doll or wire wig brush.

Dolls should be kept away from anything that may permanently stain, mark or damage any part of the doll, including her hair and clothes. Examples are markers(especially permanent), paint, etc.

Another one is all dolls should be properly dressed for the weather when outside. (IE a coat in the winter, shorts in the summer...)

Dollies who are brought to their mommy's/sister's/caretakers bed for naps or bedtime should have their hair protected properly, so as to avoid getting people oils in their hair.

All dollies shall not share hair items with people; they shall have their own brushes, combs, and ponytail holders.

Dollies shall only go barefoot when they want to.

Modest dollies such as Historicals Kept Historicals shall not be made to take incriminating pictures of themselves while immodest unless they let you--you wouldn't want pics of you in your underwear all over the net!

Dollies shall be dressed head to toe--don't make dollies go out without their underwear!

11. Dolls should not be permanently left in their boxes unless the doll is going to be a future gift, sold or intended to be shipped or brought to another destination.
